2.2 For security reasons and to protect the transmission of personal data and other confidential content (e.g., orders or inquiries to the controller), this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the prefix “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
3) Cookies
To make your visit to our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, which are small text files that are stored on your device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser (so-called “session cookies”), while others remain on your device for a longer period and allow us to save your settings for future visits (so-called “persistent cookies”). In the latter case, you can find the storage duration in your web browser’s cookie settings.

The legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, an additional legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your inquiry, provided that there are no legal retention obligations.
5) Website Functions
5.1 Google Maps
This website uses an online map service provided by Google Maps (API) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland. Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps to visually present geographic information. When you visit the subpages containing Google Maps, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google servers and stored there. This may also involve transmission to Google LLC servers in the USA, regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged into or whether a user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly associated with your account. If you do not want this association with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as user profiles and evaluates it.
The collection, storage, and evaluation are carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on Google’s legitimate interest in displaying personalized advertising, market research, and/or the needs-based design of Google websites. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right, you must contact Google. If you do not agree to the future transmission of your data to Google when using Google Maps, you also have the option to completely deactivate the Google Maps web service by disabling JavaScript in your browser. In this case, Google Maps and the map display on this website cannot be used.
If required by law, we have obtained your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR for the processing of your data as described above. You can revoke your consent at any time with future effect. To exercise your revocation, please follow the above-mentioned option to object.
5.2 hCaptcha
This website uses the CAPTCHA service provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., 350 Alabama St, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA. The service checks whether an input is made by a natural person or is abusive through machine and automated processing, blocking spam, DDoS attacks, and similar automated malicious access. To ensure that an action is taken by a human and not an automated bot, the provider collects the IP address of the device used, recognition data of the browser and operating system type used, as well as the date and duration of the visit, and transmits this data for evaluation to the provider’s servers.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in determining individual responsibility on the Internet and preventing misuse and spam in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties. For the transfer of data to the USA, the provider relies on standard contract clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection.
6) Tools and Miscellaneous
6.1 Cookie Consent Tool
This website uses a “Cookie Consent Tool” to obtain effective user consent for cookies subject to consent and cookie-based applications. The “Cookie Consent Tool” is displayed to users in the form of an interactive user interface when they visit the page, allowing them to grant consent for specific cookies and/or cookie-based applications by checking boxes
. By using the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user grants consent by checking boxes. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the user’s device in case of granted consent.
The tool sets technically necessary cookies to store your cookie preferences. Generally, personal user data is not processed. If, in individual cases, personal data is processed for the purpose of storing, assigning, or logging cookie settings (such as IP address), this is done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific, and user-friendly cookie consent management and, thus, a legally compliant design of our website.
Another legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. As the controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the user’s consent. If necessary, we have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider to ensure the protection of our website visitors’ data and to prohibit unauthorized disclosure to third parties. Further information about the operator and the settings of the Cookie Consent Tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.
6.2 Wordfence
For security purposes, this website uses the service of Defiant Inc., 800 5th Ave Ste 4100, Seattle, WA 98104, USA. The provider protects the website and its associated IT infrastructure against unauthorized third-party access, cyberattacks, viruses, and malware. The provider collects users’ IP addresses and, if applicable, further data about their behavior on our website (especially accessed URLs and header information) to detect and defend against illegitimate page accesses and threats. The collected IP address is compared with a list of known attackers. If the collected IP address is recognized as a security risk, the provider can block access to the site for this IP address.
The described data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interests in protecting the website from harmful cyberattacks and in safeguarding the structure, data integrity, and security. If website visitors have login rights, the provider also sets cookies (small text files) on the visitor’s device. These cookies can read certain location and device information that allows an assessment of whether the login-authorized access is from a legitimate person. At the same time, access rights can be evaluated through the cookies and released through an internal firewall according to the permission level. Finally, the cookies are used to register irregular access by site administrators from new devices or new locations and to notify other administrators. These cookies are only set if a user has login rights. The processing of personal data through these cookies is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR based on our legitimate interests in preventing unauthorized access to site administration and defending against unauthorized administrator access.
We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider to ensure the protection of the data of our website visitors and to prohibit unauthorized disclosure to third parties. For the transfer of data to the USA, the provider relies on standard contract clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection.

HOWEVER, WE MAY CONTINUE PROCESSING IF WE CAN DEMONSTRATE COMPELLING LEGITIMATE GROUNDS FOR THE PROCESSING WHICH OVERRIDE YOUR INTERESTS, RIGHTS, AND FREEDOMS, OR IF THE PROCESSING SERVES THE ASSERTION, EXERCISE, OR DEFENSE OF LEGAL CLAIMS.

If personal data is processed based on explicit consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, the data concerned will be stored until you revoke your consent.
If there are legal retention periods for data processed in the context of contractual or quasi-contractual obligations based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, these data will be routinely deleted after the expiration of the retention periods, provided they are no longer necessary for the fulfillment of the contract or for the initiation of a contract, and unless there is a legitimate interest in continuing to store them on our part.
